Identify stitch?
Can anyone tell me what this stitch is? Maybe a pattern for it? I am fairly new to knitting and have no idea. I searched, but no luck. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

It looks like a broken rib.

You'd work in k1,p1 ribbing for 3 rows and then either purl all the way across the 4th row.

Hey there! Did you ever figure out what the stitch was? On the day that you posted this question, I decided to give it a try myself. I used two strands of Vanna's Choice held together throughout. I did two rows of K1P1 followed by two rows of garter stitch. My scarf came out fairly close to what was in the picture. It just wasn't as full as the ones pictured. I bet that it would be thicker if I had used a bulkier yarn. I will post a pic of it when I get home.
