I like the look and feel of fingering, but the thought of making a whole sweater with it is daunting! Mostly I guess I'd say I use DK or worsted. Just finished a fingering weight scarf though.

If it's a cardigan and you knit in the round you'll have to steek it to have it open at the front. If you are just using circulars to knit flat then you don't change anything.

Cotton classic is my go to yarn for dish cloths. The color doesn't fade like regular dish cloth cotton. Also doesn't seem to stain as badly.

The best thing to do is take it section by section as you're knitting. It will make more sense than just taking the last section out of context. So start knitting and ask for help as you need it.
