Midwest Region Oddball Baby Blankets

Hello friendly charity knitters and crocheters!

We work together to make Oddball Baby Blankets for charity. Our blankets will be made according to the requests of our local hospital(s), so keep watching this thread to see our guidelines.

purlingkitten will be the leader for the West Coast / Central Region Oddball Baby Blankets.
(The Midwest Region has now merged with the West Coast)

The West Coast / Central Region includes: Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Mexico, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, South Dakota, Texas, Utah, Washington, Wisconsin, and Wyoming.

If you would like to volunteer to help make our blankets, please send purlingkitten a private message, and she'll help you get started!

I am already on the preemies and babies for the midwest, so if we put them all together into one can someone explain how the new group will work?? Will we still have the 3 seperate groups, or just one to manage?

Just one group now. All the knitters for the Midwest blankets(preemie and regular) will be handled by traceleighj.

Thanks so much!
I will start the next post as a list of all of the blankets and knitters so there is only one post to manage. It will also be on this first page then.
I have a list of knitters from the Preemies and Great Plains but please send me a PM if you are unsure if I have you on the list, or are a new knitter who would like to join us- we love to add newbies!
My plan is to list some new blankets early this week so we can all get groovin' for 2009. Also, please let me know if you have any blanket ideas!

Looks like we still need 2 knitters for preemie blankets. There is an open spot on Ocean Waves and Happy Princess....let me know if you want to join them!

ETA 1/11/09- Cheryl1973 from Rav joined Ocean Waves. Only Happy Princess left. Any takers? Becjo took it!

Hi Tracie,

I see you have me down as "working on" the Neon Lights blanket... I got a message quite a while ago that I was next on the list, but that was it, no mention of when I was supposed to receive it, so didn't know when I should be getting it and haven't been watching for it... and I haven't received it yet... Should we be tracing it or something?

ETA: I looked back in my old messages and I had replied that I could take the blanket on Dec 17, so it has been a few weeks.
