Candy Cane arrived safe and soundl this afternoon. I should have my section completed by Sunday so it will be ready to mail out on Monday if the next knitter is ready. Thank you Kay for the chocolate and stitch markers, they are pretty, Nanna

I wanted to share a photo of the blanket that pinnut knit all by herself! She named it Lime Sherbert.

I got home yesterday and found a package on my doorstep. Lo and behold…TWO blankets from nannaknits!

Hi all,

I just PMed with Auburnchick and I am really excited about participating for the next set of blankets.

I didn't read every post in the thread, but if there are still suggestions being taken about where to donate blankets to, one I am thinking of here in Boise is the City Light Shelter. In Boise, we don't have enough resources for the homeless, and most of the ones we do have are for men. This shelter helps women and children. I think it would be neat to consider it as a cause.

We love new members!!!! I can't wait to plug you into some blanket spots!



We're set on where to donate the worsted and preemie blankets from this round, but perhaps in the 2nd round of blanket-making, we can consider this charity. The blankets are small...ideal for newborns. I can't see them being used for children older than a year or so...unless they used them as snugglies.
