I'm even MORE redneck! We say, "NEKKID"
I think the 2 K's make it more redneck.
Don't make me use the twang on y'all. I shore can do, yes ma'am I can! I'll even pull out the VHS tape of my high school graduation...where I gave the Salutatorian speech. My children and I got quite the kick out of hearing me speak when we watched the tape a few weeks ago.
I am taking over as leader of this group from AuburnChick. I'm really excited to have us start up again.
I had some empty needles left from our last go-round so cast on for a premie blanket. I've called it Tranquility.
Looking for 6 knitters plus a border person.
There will be more started shortly.
If anyone has empty needles from the last ones we did and wants to start a blanket, let me know. Also if you have empty needles but don't wish to start one, you may send them back to me.

Ooh and I have another idea as well.. I was thinking about doing a striped blanket where for each section you do a two-colored striped section, in example, Section #1: 1" of red, 1" of blue, 1" of red, 1" of blue. Then Section #2: 1" of yellow, 1" of green, 1" of yellow, 1" of green, etc. I know it would require a little bit of stranding... but just an idea!
Also another random idea popped into my mind: Orange Sherbert! (sp?)
Tranquility is amlost filled. Just looking for one more knitter and a border person. Any takers?
Pinnut, Krismorales, Stisdale, Dimpledapple and AshleyP are signed up to knit on Tranquility.
Alos, would like to know if our group would be willing to help knit blankets for Knit for Hope. A thread exists here on KH about this organization. Or do you know of a need in your area that we could help? Suggestions and ideas are welcome.
Nostash has indicated that her donation collection point has closed and that it might be time to find another one. We have provided over 30 blankets to the Denver hospital.
