Spearmint Twist arrived today!
Thanks Kris for the wonderful tape measure - it's so cute!

I'll get started right away on this beautiful blanket - I LOVE the colors!

I just realized I'm adding the last section to the blanket and I've never done that before. There may be instructions on here somewhere, but am I suppose to bind it off before sending it to the border person? Then do I get to keep the needles and start a new blanket (I'm willing to do so, if that's normal)?

Please go ahead and bind off. You can hold onto the needles and start a new blanket if you want. Just let me know! I can send you an instruction sheet for whatever type you choose to cast on for (DK or worsted).

I just finished Busy Baby Bee...I have to admit that the stitch almost got the best of me...I had to frog it twice before I got the hang of it. But it is a very pretty stitch....I have to admit. Not sure I'll try much more than 4 inches of it though.

Kris - don't feel bad, I had to do the same and get advice from the others when I had Busy Baby Bee. I've been practicing it making the dishcloths that the pattern came from because I like the stitch and want to be able to use it again sometime.

I really do like the stitch, I just never really got a rhythm going. I had to really pay attention to the count. Maybe because I could never "see" the pattern form like I can on a rib stitch. But I think it makes a precious baby blanket. Snuggly.
