I miss the photos, too. If you have one of these blankets, please post a picture for us. Thanks

Ahhh...it looks terrific!!!

Y'all let me know if you ever need yarn. I have Hobby Lobby, Joann's, Michael's, and Walmart...all within five miles of my house. I don't mind picking something up and sticking it in the mail to you.

Either way, the blanket looks fabulous with the yarn you used!!

I updated the blog with the picture. Thank you!!

A bounty of blessings awaited me when I got home from work today. I received Spearmint Twist and Busy Baby Bee in the mail today. Spearmint Twist is just lovely, I was able to start on it right away because I had some yarn that worked perfect just waiting in my stash.

Busy Baby Bee is also pretty...such a neat stitch...I hope I get the hang of it, but the directions look clear enough. Wendy thanks for the goodies. My mom used to have applets and cotlets around the house all the time...they were a special treat for us kids when we were good. Great memories are fun to relive.

But I do have a question...is Busy Baby Bee a preemie blanket or a regular baby blanket. The first two sections look like preemie weight, but the last two look quite a bit heavier. I'll wait until I get an answer before I go out to get the yarn...

Thanks
Kris

Busy Baby Bee is a regular blanket. I've had this question asked before. I wonder if maybe some of the worsted weight yarn is a little lighter than others? You know how some can be a little thicker depending on the brand. I've been told that one of the brands used is Caron Simply Soft. It's a worsted yarn but has a silkier feel to it. Maybe those are the sections that appear to be dk weight?

I just received Lemon Drop in the mail. The blanket looks so nice! I have never received a blanket as the last section and so it was really cool to have a better idea what the finished product would look like. So neat! Thank you Janet for the goodies!

Hi all! Kris is already done with her section of Spearmint Twist! She does fast work, eh?

I am asking if anyone is interested in being a pinch-knitter for that blanket. We have one more section to go before it heads to nannaknits for the border.

Anyone game?

Nathalie -
I'd love to do spearmint twist! I'm having withdrawals (is that spelled right - looks weird) from oddball blankets!
