good price on good bamboo DPNs?

worked with them last night and love them so much more than the metal ones. of course my dog within 24 hours chewed them to pieces. but i got an idea. since they are so much better for me i could spray them with the bitter apple and let them dry, and then i could knit without fear of doggie chew obsession.

so good prices anywhere? want to get a number of them. i see them for about 7-8 bucks and then S&H. a little steep for me.

i have size US8 and US6. they are in sets of four by boyle just bought today. ill do two for one, as the metal ones are so much cheaper than bamboo. is it takumi? (tried that brand and loved them. will take any that wont spinter in my hands though!)

Yeah, they're Takumi. I thought they might be slippery enough for me, since they seem slicker than lots of other wooden ones, but they just weren't.

I just recently fell in love with them too! I am on a mission now to make my whole stash of needles bamboo. I don't think I have come across anywhere that has free shipping though, although I have seen a flat rate of $4 so I figure if I wait until I need some other things and then order everything at once, it will be a pretty good deal. If I can't wait I am fortunate enough to have a LYS that I can run to and see if they have what I need.

I do have a Joann.com coupon for free shipping and I think they carry bamboo needles. The coade is NEW60305 and it doesn't expire until March 11 and there is not a minimum purchase necessary.
