How about switching your volume off? And if that doesn't work, just close it or navigate elsewhere. Or does this person MAKE you watch it?

That's what I mean: you can't close it. It automatically re-opens. And when you navigate away from it, the sound continues. I finally had to mute my whole system to get away from it.

So, later, when I find a video I want to watch, I'll probably have forgotten that the sound is off and will think something's wrong with the desirable video.

To me, a video that can't be turned off rates as spam.

DCM, I opened the video just to see what happens, fully expecting to close the browser to get rid of it. It's just a typical youtube video as far as I can tell. I paused it and it's stayed paused. I opened another video and the turtle one went away. I can close the tab it's in. I think I'm missing something?

Anyhow, it's a cute turtle and I think I might like to make one but I don't need a 35 minute video to teach me. I'd end up moving ahead and watching bits and pieces of it.
