You can certainly add my name if you want. I can probably find some yarn to go with it.

Casting on: grannydani (rav)
2nd Knitter: PeattieWa

Desert Sand is ready to travel

I used Simply Soft (Cedar) and a block pattern.

Where is this blanket going next?

Nice job, Nancy! It's beautiful (and you do FAST work!).
I'll post the picture on our blog (as soon as I get back from the soccer game later -- I'm in VA at a soccer tournament).

I'll check with the next knitter.

Grand Canyon Sunset and Purple Mountains Majesty
Hello fellow knitters!

I went away for the weekend...long drive up to Virginia to a soccer tournament...

So, I had a lot of time to knit. I cast on two blankets.

Here's Grand Canyon Sunset. I used Caron Simply Soft. The color is Mango (9502), and the pattern is called Purl Triangles from my book, knit & purl.

The second blanket I cast on is Purple Mountains Majesty. I used Caron Simply Soft, and the color is Violet (9908). The pattern is called Reverse Stockinette Stitch Chevrons (from the same book).

Those look wonderful Aubrun. Can you tell me the title of your book that you've used? I know you said knit & purl was wondering if that was the full title

Yep...that's the full title. You can find out more about the book here.

Oh, and can you clarify...which border are you going to do? Was it Desert Sand that you said you have the perfect yarn for?

TY.
