Hi, Is fingerling comparable to extrafine merino superwash?? Thanks, Linda

It's possible the 'extrafine' refers to the type of merino, not the weight. Which yarn is it? You can tell if the gauge for it is done on size 2-4 needles, that would about fingering weight.

That would be a DK weight, then, about 3 times the thickness of a fingering weigh.
