Hi all,

I'm new to the forum and a total beginner. The above image is what I want to knit. Basically I need help with a pattern for the above as I have looked around and can't seem to find one, what knitting needles and equipment etc do I need?

That looks like it's crocheted not knitted.

I think it's crocheted, too. There are lots of knitted headband patterns and flowers you could attach to them.

If you can't/don't want to crochet it, you could do a simple garter stitch headband for a sort of similar look.

Look at lionbrand.com for flowers. that one is definitely crochet, but lionbrand has been posting flowers of all types so you should be able to find one you like to attach to it.
