Hello! I tried a search to see if a similar question has already been asked, but I couldn't find anything; I'm sorry if this is a repeat.

I'm knitting a jacket and the instruction "wrap next st" appears in the cap shaping section of knitting the sleeves.

I have six stitches and the instructions are to:
"P4, wrap next st, turn
K4
P2, wrap next st, turn
K2
Place all sts (6 sts including the 2 wraps) to a stitch holder."

How does one wrap a stitch (knitting in continental style)?

They're talking about short rows to shape the sleeve head.

Amy has a video here (http://www.knittinghelp.com/videos/advanced-techniques) under "short row with wrap", and there's some good pictures at Knotions (http://www.knotions.com/techniques/short_rows/how_to_add_short_rows_to_your_sweater.aspx) (I think there's three pages with different pictures).
