Hi,

I'm just wondering..does it work to do a scarf entirely in stockinette stitch? I started trying to make one, but I'm wondering if I should rip it out and do something different with my yarn. I did two rows on the bottom of garter stitch.

Once it starts getting longer will it flatten out? Or should I abandon this idea?

Thanks!

p.s. I'm using a medium weight wool/mohair yarn.

It doesn't flatten out. It needs at least an inch on the ends and each side in either garter or seed stitch to lay somewhat flat. If you have a blockable yarn, that helps, but it's best to knit an edging on it to keep it from curling.
