i'm doing a child's jacket with loopy edging and a blackberry stitch on the other side. the pattern instructions don't seem to be working for me...i'm more of a show and tell kind of learner! would anyone have instructions in great detail of how to do this? mine read- k1, leaving sts on LH needle, bring yarn in front of work btwn needles, wrap yarn twice around LH thumband take yarn back to wrong side of work between needles. k same st on LH needle again and slip it off L needle, let loops slip off thumb, bring yarn to front of work btwn needles, then take it over R needle to make one st. now pass 2 sts on R needle over made st and off needle.
sounds fine on paper but it's just not working for me! maybe it's my 2 and 4 year olds trying to jump on me as i knit that's the problem!
