Hi! When you are knitting with 2 colors (as in a stripe pattern) and are carrying the unused color along the side, does the back look different from the front? Does it look different than the actual pattern?:wink: Thanks!

Usually when changing color you'll see a different color purl bump. For this reason change colors on the front unless you want it as a design feature. Is that what you mean?

I was experimenting with knitting with 2 colors--knitting 1 and carrying the other-- 2 rows of each color and what I consider to be the back looks different from the front--more like "lines" of color instead of the 2 and 2 pattern. I was wondering if this is the way it's supposed to look!:cool:
