Maybe it's my inexperience coming through, but why wouldn't you be able to just do this tree with a super bulky fur yarn without adding the Homespun? Would it not hold it's shape? i did hats with just the fun fur and it was slouchy, but if you were stuffing with polyfill, I can't see why it wouldn't work either. It was dense enough to hide the stitches...and I used some big fatty needles...

See, I'm used to the 2 yr old thing.... ;)

Yep, and why, why, why can't I do this with a larger size 13 needles, mix the fun fir with 100% wool and felt it??? I bet that would work, too! ;) ;) ;)
