blocking hat

Hey I just finished knitting this hat, http://www.cyn.ca/knit/patterns/brainmonster/ and it says that I need to block it. I would say I have to agree since the teeth look really goofy sticking out. I've never blocked before and I don't know how I would block a hat. I looked at the article from Knitty but it didn't really help me. Help would be much appreciated!

I've heard that people dampen them and put them over a rounded sort of object. Though that may not work for teeth...

What yarn did you use... I would just steam it if it was mine.

I used Patons Classic Wool. The label says that its 100% Pure New Wool.
