Thanks a million for all the help from this board so far....
I have been able to use Silver's website and the sock tutorial(this website) and the youtube video (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rkE9ZVrHrR0&feature=related) so far I have seen everyone decreases the same way on needle 1, then knit needle 2 and needle 3 they are all somewaht different.
Silver website ss(knitwise)the k2tog slipped stitches
this website=Skp
youtube video=skp over

So my question is
1) Do you always decrease (needle 1) and shape (needle 3) on the same round?
2) My pattern says to "Continue in stockinette stitch decreasing every other round where the heel flap meets the instep on either side of sock until 68 stitches remain"--Does this mean I decrease and shape as everyone is describing?

3) Will this sock ever end? :)

yep on every other round you will decrease on needle 1 and needle 3... the SSK, SKP, SKPO, (you will sometimes see Slip 1 Knit1, PSSO) all give you the same left leaning decrease... I like the look better of the SKP I think it leans better or lays better...but it's all what you are comfy with... you can do any of those and get the same results :happydance:

Once you get past the Gusset it will seem to go faster... I think the gusset slows me down not sure why I guess keep track if I decreased on this round or the one before :teehee:
