I am making a sweater and on the shaping neck i have bound off 8 stitches in the center but don't get "working both sides at once , bind off 2 stitches from each neck edge at once?? It is not making since to me:( HELP:knitting:

You've separated the front into two halves which will go up to the shoulder. Now you'll be working each with it's own strand of yarn.
When the neck edge is at the beginning of the row, bind off 2 stitches and work to the end. Do this once on each edge of the neck.
