Paypal phishing email

I received email last week that I tought was from Paypal. The address and almost everything else looked ok. They were saying that someone tried to get into my account and I need to enter my info again.
I remembered reading that Paypal doesn't ask those things and didn't respond. After sending it to Paypal they did confirm that it was a scam. So if you get one don't enter any info and forward it to Paypal. Also don't go to Paypal trough any links.

I get those all the time. The best way to check if it's legit or not is to right click on the sender/subject, click properties and check where the e-mail came from. Sometimes you have to click the detail tab to get the exact path. I always copy the addy and send it to paypal when I report the scam.
