hi - totally new here. I'm on my second project ever, a baby blanket. I've gotten through most of it, but I'm having trouble as I near the end. There are 2 borders to the blanket, one of which is currently on a stitch holder, the other one is the one I'm currently working on. It says for the Next Row: "K16, K2tog, knit across 91 sts left on a stitch holder for main part..." how do I do this when I still have stitches left on the needle I'm currently working from? What does "knit across" mean? After that, it says "work across 18 sts left on a stitch holder..." but I don't currently have 18 sts on a stitch holder because the other stitch holder is for the border which said to cont patt until border is of sufficient length to go side edge of main part of blanket...which it is, and it's a lot more than 18 sts!
I'm working form Sirdar's Tiny Tots DK 1501, if anyone is familiar with it. Thanks!

Did you do the borders in the right order?

I'm picturing that two of the borders on the sides are done, and that you're adding the border on the other ends. Is there a way you can post a picture?

It might mean that you k16 , k2tog, repeat that across the row?

Yes - this new part would be the end border. But, as in the previous border, there are a lot of stitches still left on the needle from the lengthwise border. I'm afraid I may be in over my head on this one.

I took a picture of it, but the file is too big for the site to accept the upload.
