Hand dyed bat for spinning

I'm so excited.... :happydance: :cheering: :happydance:
I started my first dye batch last night for some of Miss Babs Beautiful Marino. It was looking pretty good this morning, but I wanted a little more color so I zapped it one more time and left it for later today. I can't wait to see how it turns out and how it spinns up.

I'll try to take some tonight. I'm actually dyeing this current batch for an 8 year old girl who sooooo wants to learn. I wanted her to have some soft pretty pink fiber of her own to start with. I have it hanging up to dry now.

Ok... Pics of my first dye attempt. It didn't dye very even. I think next time I'll need to use a bigger bowl.
