A lady that works with my mother asked me to make a beret and scarf for her 3 year old for Christmas. I chose Moda Dea Dream (http://www.modadea.com/dream.htm) as the yarn, and got this pattern (http://www.cabinfever.ca/ItemDetail.asp?DETAIL=127) for a beret at my cousin's yarn shop.
I just finished the beret, and am very pleased with it!
I'm making the scarf in the round, so it will be double-sided. I think it will take the longest time to make. I really love that yarn - it's so soft!

Now, I'm working on the scarf. I've decided to make the Scrunchable Scarf (http://www.knitlist.com/96gift/giftsscarf.htm) with this delicious yarn. I really like the way it's turning out!

The beret is adorable and the scarf will go great with it.
My granddaughter loves her beret. If Mama forgets to bring it to town, she's unhappy not to have her hat.

Here's the finished set! (Well, not really finished, because the lady wants me to add fringe.)

I added fringe, because the customer requested it. But I think it looked better without it.
She can trim the fringe the length she wants. I've spent enough time on this project.
