I am actually doingm very well for a beginner...getting better lol! But, my sides are not even, for example...a scarf lol. Looks bad! goes in and out. Can someone help me? What am I doing wrong?

You're a beginner, so your tension is probably not as even as it will eventually become. When you're done, you can try wetting the scarf and straightening it out. :thinking:

You can also slip the first stitch as if to purl and knit the last stitch for nice edges. Practice will also help even your tension as Ingrid has said.
