FO~ baby hat

ok i finished this hat that i started last night... it took me all day. i got the pattern from DIY (http://www.diynetwork.com/diy/na_knitting/article/0,2025,DIY_14141_3148151,00.html)


now i don't know what baby head they measured when they made this pattern cause it says it fits infant to 1 year!!! :shock: i don't think so. its big on my 3 year old!!!! maybe i did something wrong...

but Krickett is going to wear it anyway!!!

Carmell, every time I see that baby I just giggle. She is just too CUTE with her HUGE "deer in the headlights" eyes!

You didn't do anything wrong. I made that hat for a friends baby and it is the same way. Fits my 2 1/2 but not the baby it was intended for. I double and triple checked the gauge. She will be able to wear it for a good long time!

thanks everone. i started the second boot... but with Christmas growing closer and i still haven't started the 2 gift i'm supposed to knit... so its on hold for a minute...but it won't take me that long to do it ...i might do it anyway!
