How do you K1P1 in the same stitch and pull the knit stitch over the purl stitch?

Knit one like normal, but do not slip the stitch off the left needle.
Bring the yarn forward, and purl the same stitch. (If the stitch is tight, wiggle your needle into it and loosen it up a bit.)
Then insert your left needle into the knitted stitch on your right needle, pull it up and over the purled stitch, and drop it off the right needle.
