I'm knitting my first simple shell. I was wondering what does psso mean and what I'm to do next? It says in the pattern to K1. SL1. K1. psso When I go to do the slip the stitch, do I slip it off the left neddle?

I'm working on the start for the armhole shaping.

You'd pass the slipped stitch over the knit one. On this page: http://www.knittinghelp.com/knitting/basic_techniques/decrease.php look for the SKP video. It will show you what to do.
