drop yarn overs?

can anyone tell me how to do a "drop yarn over" on row 4? here's the pattern stitch:

rows 1&2: knit
row 3: k1, *(yo) twice, k1, rep from * across
row 4: knit, dropping yo's

I'm making this shawl:
