Hi Amy
I recently made this pair of Fuzzy Feet from knitty.com - They are SO warm and comfy.
:)
Rick
I just put a link to that pattern on the pattern page last night!
Yours look great!
Did you have a hard time felting them to the right size? I've never tried felting, because I'm always afraid things will end up doll-sized or something! But those look so nice, I might try it one of these days!

No problem with the right size. Lucky me eh? I felted for about 8 mins in my Whirlpool extra large capacity washer. I too was a little worried but I figured what the heck, you learn from your mistakes.

My very first scarf (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v19/jillyk/JillsFirstScarf.jpg)
So you're prolly wondering whats up that itty bitty piece of knitting with the horrible fringe on the end haha Well, it's for this little guy:
My little snowman (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v19/jillyk/JillsMrSnowman.jpg)
Yes, I'm 23 and my snowman looks like 10 year old made it ;) but I think he's cute! And I finally knitted something without having to unravel it! So yay me! :D

I'm on my second month of knitting, and I keep asking myself why I hadn't tried this years ago! So far I've finished a cell phone tote, a dishcloth (which helped me learn even tension), and yesterday I finished a tassled hat for my 2-year-old niece.

Here is where I got the free pattern:
http://maggiesrags.com/freetasslehat.htm
Oddly enough, I learned tassle-making for cross-stitched ornaments. I have a lot of leftover yarn so I may use the rest to make a little scarf to go with the hat. :) I'm on day #2 on making a second hat in purples for my niece's sister.

CUTE!!! Thanks for sharing, Debi! :) It suits your niece perfectly! How adorable. :)

I am very proud of it. Had some problems along the way but I learned from them. Now I just have to make another, LOL.

Welcome Amy in Alaska!
Nice sock!!
My first attempt at a sock was worked in such a tight gauge that it looked like it had been felted! Yours looks nice and comfy and wearable! Congratulations! :)

I finished my VW hat (http://www.knittinghelp.com/knitting/forum/viewtopic.php?t=108) for my husband. I'm pretty happy with the result. I think if I make another one, I'll shrink the size of the logo a bit and put it a tad lower on the hat. I've also gotta work on my tension when I transition colors -- I'm getting that "bunching" effect that Amy warned about in her fair-isle video.
I made it with with Red Heart Classic (http://www.coatsandclark.com/find_a_product/knitting_crochet/E267/html/e267.htm) yarn (blue) and Patons Brilliant (http://www.patonsyarns.com/product.php?LGC=brilliant) ("white twinkle", using 2 strands), on a size 7 needle.
I put the pattern I used here, in the Pattern Central forum (http://www.knittinghelp.com/knitting/forum/viewtopic.php?t=123).
Brialliant! That looks great!!!
Nice work, Jessica!
